Home/Editorial Standards

1. Sourcing & Verification Protocol

ListTribe adheres to strict multi-tier verification before any net worth figure, contract estimate, or corporate balance sheet metric is published.

Primary Documentation (Gold Standard)SEC EDGAR filings (Forms 3, 4, 10-K, 10-Q), municipal deeds, probate court records, patent and trademark grants, and corporate registry entries.
Two-Source Independent Rule for Unfiled DataFor private deals, endorsement contracts, and upfront film salaries where SEC filings are absent, we require corroboration from at least two independent industry sources (talent agencies, production accounting leads, or financial managers).
Rejection of Tabloid & Unsubstantiated GossipFigures originating from unverified social media claims, rumor blogs, or anonymous message boards are categorically excluded from our valuation models.

2. Conflicts of Interest & Independence

ListTribe editorial team members are strictly prohibited from holding direct financial interests, advisory retainers, or undisclosed equity in the private enterprises or talent management entities they cover.

  • We do not accept paid or sponsored placements in our Net Worth Rankings or Billionaires Index.
  • All commercial and advertising partnerships are strictly firewalled from the research and editorial desk.
  • Analysts must recuse themselves from profiling individuals or corporations where a familial or professional advisory relationship exists.

3. Public Correction & Revision Log Policy

When a factual error, mathematical miscalculation, or outdated share count is identified, we correct it promptly with an explicit disclosure note at the bottom of the affected article or celebrity profile.

Substantive Corrections: Any change affecting net worth by ±5% or more is highlighted with an “Updated & Audited” timestamp and explanation of the newly incorporated documentation.

Typographical / Minor Edits: Routine formatting or spelling updates that do not alter financial figures are corrected without a formal change notice.
